I have many, diverse interests, one of them being the theatre both performing and attending. I am member of a community theatre where I mingle with a colourful mixture of people from all walks of life.

Photography is another interest that I enjoy. Sometimes the lens can capture what the eye cannot see. Hand in hand with this is my love of travel. I feel I have learnt so much through experiencing the different cultures and the colours of the many countries I have been fortunate enough to have visited.

My greatest passion is writing. I am a poet and a writer and have been writing for many years. Whilst I enjoy writing prose, poetry is my first love. I enjoy the freedom of expression that it allows. Life is my inspiration with all its beauty and its ugliness. It feeds my soul and lets my imagination take flight ... brings me solace and has at times been my salvation. It is as essential as breathing.

From this love, On Wings of Words is born. I want to share my poetry and love of writing with others and help them to express their deepest thoughts and feelings. To capture a moment, a thought and an emotion for them to share as a personal and intimate gift or to keep as a memory for themselves forever. The right words can make a special moment or event unique and memorable, and leave an impression.

I am currently compiling an Anthology of Poetry, which I hope to publish. Watch this space ...
